IronPaw beds use 1120GSM PVC fabric — 1mm thick with PVC coating applied to both sides. This is significantly heavier and more resistant than the polyester or canvas used in standard pet beds. The fabric is mechanically clamped into an anodised aluminium frame, so there are no stitched edges that can be chewed through.

We offer Small (72×51cm), Medium (86×70cm), Large (100×76cm) and XL (120×87cm). These are outer frame dimensions. See our Sizing Guide for breed recommendations and measuring instructions.

Fabric is available in grey or black. Frames are available in black or silver. All combinations use the same 1120GSM PVC fabric.

Yes. The PVC fabric is waterproof and UV-resistant. The anodised aluminium frame won't rust. IronPaw beds are well suited to kennels, utes, verandahs and outdoor runs.

Yes, though IronPaw beds are primarily designed for adult dogs with strong chewing habits. Puppies can use them — many owners start early to build good habits. Note that our chew guarantee covers damage from adult-strength chewing; teething damage is assessed on a case-by-case basis.

No. IronPaw beds are elevated PVC fabric stretched over an aluminium frame — there is no foam filling. The elevated design keeps dogs off cold or hot ground and allows airflow underneath, which many dogs prefer. If your dog needs orthopaedic support, a separate mat or pad can be placed on top.

Shipping is free on all orders over $99. For orders under $99, a flat rate of $9.95 applies Australia-wide.

Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days. Estimated delivery after dispatch: metro areas 2–5 business days, regional areas 4–8 business days, remote NT and WA 5–10 business days. We'll send tracking details once your order is dispatched.

Yes. We can ship to PO Boxes and Australia Post Parcel Lockers. Please contact us if you have any delivery address queries before ordering.

If your order hasn't been dispatched yet, contact us at hello@ironpaw.com.au and we'll do our best. Once dispatched we can't make changes, but our returns policy covers you if something isn't right.

Check your tracking link first. If there's been no movement for more than 5 business days, email us at hello@ironpaw.com.au with your order number and we'll follow up with the carrier.

The guarantee covers chew-through damage to the PVC fabric within 2 years of purchase. If your dog chews through the fabric so the bed is no longer usable, contact us with a photo and your order number and we'll arrange a replacement for a flat $25 swap fee, which covers shipping and handling of the replacement bed.

The guarantee does not cover: use as a tether or tie-out, unsupervised outdoor use, normal surface wear or scuffing that doesn't affect function, damage to the aluminium frame caused by impact or misuse, or damage not caused by chewing. If you're unsure whether your situation is covered, just email us — we'll take a look.

A flat $25 swap fee applies to all approved guarantee claims. This covers the cost of shipping and handling for your replacement bed. There are no other charges — you won't be billed for the bed itself, just the $25 to get it to you.

Email hello@ironpaw.com.au with your order number and a photo showing the damage. We'll review your claim and get back to you within 2–3 business days. Once approved, we'll send a payment link for the $25 swap fee and dispatch your replacement once received.

No. The 2-year period runs from your original purchase date and does not reset after a replacement.

Yes. The guarantee covers one replacement per bed, per customer, within the 2-year period.

Yes. The guarantee is tied to the bed, not the number of dogs using it.

We accept returns within 30 days of purchase if the item is unused and in original packaging. If something isn't right, contact us first — we'd rather find a solution than just process a return.

Once we receive and inspect your return, refunds are processed within 3 business days. Allow a further 5–10 business days for your bank to process the funds.

Yes. Contact us at hello@ironpaw.com.au and we'll arrange an exchange. If the replacement costs more you'll pay the difference; if it costs less we'll refund the difference.

PVC fabric is easy to clean — wipe down with a damp cloth and mild detergent, or hose it off outside. Because the fabric is waterproof and non-porous, it doesn't absorb odours or bacteria the way foam or fabric beds do. Leave to dry in the sun.

Yes. The PVC fabric and anodised aluminium frame are both designed to handle water. Give it a hose, scrub with a pet-safe detergent if needed, and leave to air dry. Avoid high-pressure washing directly at the frame channels.

A rubber pet hair roller or damp rubber glove works well on PVC fabric. You can also use a vacuum with an upholstery attachment. PVC is less prone to hair embedding than fabric or plush covers.

The frame disassembles for transport or storage. If you need to reassemble, the fabric re-clamps into the frame channels. Contact us if you need guidance — we're happy to walk you through it.

The materials are weatherproof and UV-resistant, so outdoor use is fine. For best longevity we'd suggest bringing it undercover during extended periods of heavy rain or extreme heat.
